Subscriptions & Commitments

When you subscribe to one of our plans, you agree to receive one box per month during the length of your commitment, minimum. Once the commitment is over, your subscription will tacitly renewed every month until you request your unsubscription through our contact form. Once the renewal of your subscription has occurred, we are unable to cancel this renewal and therefore the shipment of your order. 

 

Payment of your subscription

It is possible to pay your subscription by credit or debt card or through Paypal. It is not possible to pay your subscription with another payment method. Your payment method will be safely stored in our system and you will be renewed every month (if you subscribed to a monthly plan no commitment, monthly plan 3 months commitment or annual plan 12 month commitment) or every quarter if you subscribed to our quarterly plan (in this case you will be renewed every 1st day of the quarter). 
It is possible to change your payment method during your subscription if you subscribed through Paypal but it will not be possible to change your payment method if you subscribed with your credit or debit card. 

 

Tacit renewal of your subscription

You subscription will be tacitly renewed every month (if you subscribed to a monthly plan no commitment, monthly plan 3 months commitment or annual plan 12 month commitment) or every quarter if you subscribed to our quarterly plan (in this case you will be renewed every 1st day of the quarter). 

If a charge attempt fails on the 1st day of the month, another try will occur on the 2nd day of the month. If this charge attempt fails again, a new attempt will occur in the next 72h, and later every 3 days until the end of the month. 

 

Subscription cancellation de l'abonnement

If you want to end your subscription, simply contact our customer service through our contact form before the last day of the month, during our opening hours. Careful, our customer service is open from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm EDT (Paris, France time). 

You can request the cancellation of your subscription with a 3 or 12 month commitment anytime, however, your subscription will keep on renewing until we have managed to charge you for the 3 or 12 payments you committed to. If you requested its cancellation, once your commitment is over, your subscription will end automatically. 

If you do not honor your commitment, Emma&Chloé will file a lawsuit in order to claim the payment of the remaining payments on your commitment. 

 

Exchange, refund & right of withdrawal

It is not possible to return or exchange a piece of jewelry that you received during your subscription, if you are not pleased with the jewelry piece that you received. We will also not be able to refund an entire Box if you don't like the one you received. By subscribing to one of our plans, you agree to receive every month a surprise piece of jewelry in your Box. 

You can claim you right of withdrawal when you subscribe to one of our plans but the right of withdrawal can only be applied to the subscription as a whole, therefore you will not be able to claim your right of withdrawal on a box from times to times during a subscription. You have 14 business days after you receive the 1st box on your subscription to claim your right of withdrawal to request a refund and a cancellation of your subscription. After this delay, you will no longer be able to claim your right of withdrawal. For example, of you subscribed to a plan on September 2nd and received your first box on September 9th, you will have 14 business days (Saturdays and Sundays excluded) from this date to claim your right of withdrawal and return us your first box to request a refund and the cancellation of your subscription. You will not be able to return your July box received on July 10th by claiming your right of withdrawal as your right of withdrawal expired at the end of May. Therefore, your return will not be accepted, our teams will send you back your box and your suscription will keep going. 

When you claim your right of withdrawal, all the boxes received since the beginning of the subscription must be returned completely and their perfect condition. If you send us back a box and one piece is missing, we will only be able to refund your Box partially. If one box is missing (for example you subscribe to a plan at the end of May, receive your May and June boxes but only send us back the May box), we will not be able to consider your right of withdrawal.
